Q: What's your favorite genre of music to jam out to on guitar?

A: Anything with a solid riff throughout the song. Blues, 50's and 60's rock, 80's metal. By playing something with a solid, repetitive riff, you can build on your lead parts very easily and improvise a lot more.

"Money For Nothing" by Dire Straits is a good example.
