Q: Why do we spend the holidays with the family members we like the least? If holidays are about family, why do we end up wishing we didn't have any by the time they're over?
A: It's an obligation to catch up with family just in case you don't see them again. In a way, I would feel like a piece of shit if I didn't see my family and something happened.
I try to be a silver lining kind of guy. You can always look at those certain relatives as examples of how not to be. Then, you can spend the whole ride home talking about them. LOL
